A recent study out of the University of British Columbia and Harvard claims that prenatal depression in mother affects the language development of her unborn child. The influence may be in the levels of hormones during the pregnancy and if treated right with medications can actually help the child in latter years surpass language score of his or her peers. Obviously, more study is being made in this area but more researchers are realizing the prenatal influences a mother has on her unborn child. To read more click on the link below:
