Being a Friend

There are a variety of support groups out there… Well, Friend 2 Friend Society is an organization that facilitates relationships with individuals with Autism. To check out this society started by a parent that have taken the world by storm click HERE.

    Both my daughter and I are on the spectrum (Asperger’s) Sounds like a terrific program. Do you know of a similar program in The States? Great post by the way.

      Thanks for your interest. In my searches it doesn’t look like they are in the States yet. But my suspicion is it is only a matter of time. You could be a pioneer and be the first to start it in the States? :) I would email them and inquire or at least refer you to another society in the States that aligns with their philosophy.

    Currently doing something similar to this in SD40. We have been calling it Peer Power. Amazing to see the benefits for all individuals involved.
